Auntie Noo

I had to giggle at a few buying you sock yarn!! Do you think it was planned??! - Imagine the conversation
"What can we do for that special birthday"
"I know - I've got a fabulous idea"
"Come on then do tell"
"We'll all buy her sock yarn and get her so addicted to it. . . then just sit back and laugh!!"

It all sounds lovely, glad you were spoilt!

Cheryl

Don't worry - if you don't want to knit socks right now, the yarn won't mind. It will be happy to just sit there for a while, looking pretty.

We're trying to make you as happy as we are...we want to share the sock love;-)

susan

Bring the yarn and needles on Tuesday and we'll get you started on a pair of socks. No saying "no."

Jacquie

OK I give in!!!

Lovely to hear from you, Jacquie, and thanks so much for telling me about the new forum! I of course joined. :) If you need any help moderating/administrating it, I do have some experience with that so I'd be happy to help!
