Today is Lucy and Sean's First Wedding Anniversary! Many many congratulations to you both! Hope you are having a special day together.
We went to see "I am Legend" today because Edward wanted to see it, having read the story. Apart from starring Will Smith, it wasn't really my kind of movie, but he was great as usual. There were one or two jump-out-of-your-seat moments and one or two hope-that-is-CGI-and-not-for-real moments. I haven't read the original story so I don't know how it compares, but I thought it was an interesting plot and ending.
I went to the post office to mail my last bit of Christmas stuff just before we went to the movies and luckily there weren't too many in front of me so I didn't have to wait too long - what made us nearly late to the movies was every single traffic light on the way was red. If we had hit the jackpot we would also have been held up by a Trax train at the crossing just before the movie theater and then we would really have been late.
The visit to the post office signalled the completion of my Christmas sewing and knitting projects which of course have had to be secret. I remembered to take pictures of them this time so I will reveal them when I am sure they have arrived at their destinations.
I bought some washable wool from Joanne's a while ago to knit Charlie a coat so that - and finishing my SWS vest are next on the agenda. It's been a while since I did any of that but I believe I am some way up the back, having already had to frog it once because it was coming out to wide - what a huge difference an extra tiny fraction of a stitch over an inch makes over a few inches!
