Hmm - that's interesting, I've never heard of those crackers so I'll have to head over to costco and try them out. I'll check out their wreaths too - I'm always looking for a nice, fresh one. Christmas is coming too quickly, I'm not ready to even think about christmas gifts yet! ;)

I'll have to look for the crackers, although I'm not sure we'll make our usual Sunday trip today. We were just looking at some crackers in a Brooks Brothers catalog yesterday. Not-quite-so-reasonably-priced at $248 for a set of six, but then, the gifts ARE sterling silver.

Thanks for the reminder-I need to pick up a wreath myself.

What is in the crackers? I only know them from novels.

So, are the jokes in the Costco crackers as terrible as the one's I've seen before? -- An unanswerable question -- I'll have to check them out. We spent last Christmas dinner groaning over the terrible puns and jokes.

I love your fabric wrap idea. I make a few gift bags out of Christmas fabric every year....they close with a satin ribbon. I have been making them so long now I don't have to use any wrapping paper for gifts that will be opened at my house. On occasion I will send them out of the house if I believe the recipient will re-use them. I applaud your efforts as we all should be doing more to conserve.

I love Christmas crackers!
